Napoli star Victor Osimhen admits he has ‘already made a decision’ about his future: ‘Now, I want to finish the season strong.’

The Nigeria international has recently signed a contract extension with Napoli until 2026, which reportedly includes a release clause in the region of €120-130m.

Linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, Osimhen appeared to confirm he would leave Napoli at the end of the season, in his latest interview with CBS.

“The rumours going around about me linked with the Premier League… for a striker like me, you expect these types of things,” he admitted.

“Of course, the Premier League is one of the biggest leagues in the world. I am at Napoli, I signed a new contract and I am enjoying my time there.

“I already know what I want to do at the end of the season. I already knew what I wanted to do in my career since I started, and I want to make my own decision.

“I already know what I want to do and the next steps I want to take. I want to finish the season strong and then come up with a decision I’ve already made.”

Osimhen was Serie A’s best scorer in 2022-23 when he contributed to Napoli’s first Serie A title in 33 years.

He has netted eight times in 18 appearances across all competitions with Napoli and is currently on AFCON international duty with Nigeria national team.
