Chelsea have reportedly increased their offer for Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi to €60m plus Marcos Alonso, while PSG bid €65m cash.

The Nerazzurri have made it clear they will not let the Morocco international go for under €80m, although that can be achieved with €70m cash plus performance-related bonuses.

Both clubs had previously offered €60m and those proposals were rejected by Inter.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain boosted their bid to €65m in case, edging closer to the magic number.

Chelsea have instead put forth the same €60m sum, but with left-back Marcos Alonso added in.

While it is true that Inter had been interested in Marcos Alonso last year, that was under coach Antonio Conte.

New boss Simone Inzaghi may well want a different profile to that of the 30-year-old Spaniard.

Alonso does have Serie A experience thanks to his time at Fiorentina from 2013-16.
