The dates for both legs of the Champions League quarter-finals including the all-Italian MilanNapoli tie as well as the game between Benfica and Inter have been confirmed following the draw at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon on Friday morning.

Inter will be the first of the Italian sides in action, playing Benfica at the Estadio da Luz in the first leg on April 11, with the second leg due to be played the following week on April 18.

The Nerazzurri were originally scheduled to play at home in the first leg, however, their fixtures have been reversed after Milan were also drawn at home in the first leg.

Due to the fact that no two Champions League games can be played in the same stadium on consecutive days and that Milan had the better league position last season, Inter have had to rearrange.

The first leg of the Milan-Napoli tie will take place on the following days after Inter’s matches, with the first leg due to be played on Wednesday, April 12 and the second on April 19.

The first leg will take place at San Siro, before the two sides meet again for the third time in just over two weeks at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The game comes with a guarantee of at least one Italian side featuring in the semi-final of the competition.

All three Italian teams are on the same side of the draw, meaning that only one can possibly make it to the final, which will take place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium on Saturday, June 10.
