Atalanta vs. Celtic: Champions League MD3 official line-ups

Atalanta receive a boost in defence, while Mateo Retegui and Ademola Lookman are on sparkling form as they host Celtic in the Champions League.

La Dea had a rough start to their Serie A campaign, but are finding their feet and have impressed so far in Europe with a 0-0 draw against Arsenal and 3-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk.

They’ve won their last three competitive games scoring 10 goals and conceding 1, with Retegui the Capocannoniere in Serie A.

However, they are missing Rafael Toloi, Odilon Kossounou, Marco Brescianini, Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca.

Sead Kolasinac was a major doubt going into this game too, but he is able to start, so Marten de Roon returns to midfield.

It is safe to say that Celtic had a mixed bag in the Champions League so far, as they beat Slovan Bratislava 5-1 at home and then were hammered 7-1 away to Borussia Dortmund.

Left-back Greg Taylor and central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers were not at 100 per cent going in.

Their danger men are Japan international Daizen Maeda and centre-forward Adam Idah, with Kasper Schmeichel in goal.
