Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu lead Inter out against Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata in the Champions League Round of 16.

It kicks off at the Wanda Metropolitano at 20.00 GMT.

The Nerazzurri have a 1-0 first leg advantage thanks to the Marko Arnautovic goal at San Siro, but the Austrian is out injured today along with Carlos Augusto, Juan Cuadrado and Stefano Sensi.

There were a few doubts on who would start in defence, as Stefan de Vrij gets the nod ahead of recovered Francesco Acerbi, while Denzel Dumfries provides a more attack-minded approach to Matteo Darmian on the right flank.

Calhanoglu made his comeback for an hour against Bologna on Saturday after three weeks out with an adductor issue.

Thuram has also shaken off muscular problems to partner captain Lautaro Martinez.

Atletico Madrid received a huge boost with the news that Antoine Griezmann is fit to start a month after sustaining an ankle injury.

Former Juventus striker Alvaro Morata had only been fit for the bench at San Siro, but leads the attack here.

Thomas Lemar and Marcos Paulo remain on the treatment table.

Diego Simeone’s men have won only two of their last nine competitive games and are coming off a shock 2-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Cadiz in LaLiga on Saturday.

Cholo was teammates with Simone Inzaghi at Lazio and before that spent three years at Inter from 1996-99.

Both sides have numerous players one yellow card away from suspension, specifically Samuel Lino, Morata and Stefan Savic for Atleti, Lautaro Martinez, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani for Inter.
