Champions League, Inter-Barcelona: probable line-ups

Lautaro Martinez is a major doubt for tonight’s Champions League clash between Inter and Barcelona at San Siro, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to replace Marcelo Brozovic.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time at San Siro.

Both sides have three points after two games, having beaten Viktoria Plzen and lost to Bayern Munich.

Inter want to bounce back after losing two consecutive games in Serie A, against Udinese and Roma.

Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic are injured and Lautaro Martinez isn’t fully fit.

However, the Argentinean striker should be ready to start along with his compatriot Joaquin Correa otherwise, Edin Dzeko will get the nod.

Likewise, Simone Inzaghi should pick the experienced Mkhitaryan over Kristjan Asllani to replace Brozovic in central midfield.

Matteo Darmian is favourite over Denzel Dumfries on the right flank, with the Dutch full-back ready to be introduced during the game if the Nerazzurri need more push on the right.

Barcelona travelled to San Siro without Memphis Depay, Jules Kounde, Hector Bellerin, Ronald Araujo and Frankie de Jong.

Ex-Milan star Franck Kessié is available but not expected to start.
