Mauro Icardi has returned to Paris from Milan, but he’s been ruled out of tonight’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig due to family issues.

Icardi returned to Milan over the weekend to meet his wife and agent Wanda Nara after she accused him of cheating on her.

According to reports in Argentina, Wanda Nara wants to divorce Icardi as she discovered an affair between the striker and the Argentinean actress Eugenia Suarez.

Icardi, a former Inter captain, missed the last two training sessions at PSG, but had been included in the squad list to face Leipzig tonight.

However, according to L’Equipe, Icardi won’t be available tonight due to family issues.

According to the report, Icardi ‘does not feel able to play’ and is ‘very affected’ by the breakup with Wanda Nara.

The impact of their separation on the player’s private life remains to be seen, given that Wanda is also his agent.

Icardi’s contract with PSG expires in June 2023. He’s been linked with a return to Serie A with Juventus and Milan interested.
