Champions League, Benfica vs. Juventus: probable line-ups

Massimiliano Allegri will confirm a 3-5-2 formation against Benfica with Dusan Vlahovic and Arek Milik up front.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time.

Juventus are desperate for a win, knowing that the three points may not be enough to qualify for the Round of 16. The Bianconeri must win both their remaining games against Benfica and PSG and hope their opponents won’t beat Maccabi Haifa.

Allegri must deal with several injuries with Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Federico Chiesa, Paul Pogba Mattia De Sciglio and Gleison Bremer out of action.

He will confirm a 3-5-2 system with Leo Bonucci, Danilo and Alex Sandro in defence.

Vlahovic and Milik will start up front. The Poland international was involved in the final minutes against Empoli on Friday.

Benfica are without Julian Draxler, a former Juventus target who came close to joining the Bianconeri in 2015.

The Portuguese side won the reverse fixture in Turin last month and a draw is enough for them to qualify for the Round of 16 with a game to spare.
