Inter boss Simone Inzaghi will rotate against Bayern Munich as the Nerazzurri have already qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 as the Group C runners-up.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time, but it’s quite a meaningless match for both sides who have already qualified for the next phase.

The Nerazzurri will visit Juventus in Serie A on Sunday, so some regular starters won’t feature in the line-up at the Allianz Arena tonight.

Inzaghi must cope without Romelu Lukaku, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Marcelo Brozovic.

Matteo Darmian could start in a back-three with Raoul Bellanova playing his first Champions League match as a starter.

Robin Gosens will get the nod on the left flank, letting Federico Dimarco rest. Hakan Calhanoglu will also start on the bench with Kristjan Asllani, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nicolò Barella in the middle of the park.

Alessandro Bastoni is on a yellow card and will rest. Lautaro Martinez will also miss the next European match if he gets a yellow card tonight, but the Argentinean will start with Joaquin Correa in attack as Edin Dzeko is not fully fit after picking up a knock in the last Serie A match with Sampdoria.

  1. If Lutaro plays, he should walk on eggs all match to avoid a yellow card and not miss next match! Dunno if Dzeko can play after the knock he got against Sampdoria!

  2. Nope only a delusional coach would play Lautaro. The only constant, reliable player in attack on a match that has no effect whatsoever. Start Correa alone or even experiment with Gosens or Dumfries upfront. This match is friendly but credit must be given since not everyday you get to see Inter play Bayern in the CL and both have already progressed. All of it could be undone if Lautaro is used only to get a yellow and miss the next key match in the CL.
