Crotone’s late equaliser against Benevento means Cagliari are safe, while Torino need one point in their last two Serie A games.

Already relegated Crotone held strugglers Benevento to a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Vigorito thanks to a late Nwankwo Simy goal.

In order to gain Serie A survival, Benevento must hope Torino lose against Lazio in the rescheduled fixture from matchday 25 on Wednesday.

They also need to beat the Granata in Turin in the final game of the season next weekend.

Benevento have only won one game from the last 21 and it was in Turin against Juventus.

The Vigorito stalemate means Cagliari are safe with two games to spare ahead of their meeting with Milan this evening.

The Rossoneri need a victory to secure a top-four finish for the first time since 2013.

If they do so, Juventus and Napoli will be fighting for the last Champions League spot next weekend.

The Azzurri are one point clear of the Bianconeri. They face Hellas Verona at home on Sunday, while Juve play away at Bologna.
