Speaking to Radio Goal, sporting director Lorenzo Minotti admitted that the Cavallucci Marini are likely to consider offers. This was suggested as a follow-on point in the interview to alternative methods that the club are seeking in order to fund a deal for Napoli’s Mario Santana.

“With Napoli we had discussed the possibility of an exchange of loans between [Antonio] Candreva and Santana.

“Candreva, though, did not agree to the situation and we could not take Santana. We cannot afford him either at an economic or technical level otherwise.

“We cannot ordinarily part with Parolo, but if we receive a suitable offer, we could not afford to not think about it as a transfer of goods, as we did last year with [Yuto] Nagatomo.”
