Cesare Maldini believes Mario Balotelli ‘should be left in peace’ to resurrect his career at Milan.
The forward has arrived on loan from Liverpool after a disappointing season in England, and is one of the most talked-about players in Serie A.
“I hope Mario can do well in a Milan shirt,” Maldini, who made over 400 appearances for Milan, and whose son Paolo played 902 times, told Palermo24.

“I hope Mario can do well in a Milan shirt,” Maldini, who made over 400 appearances for Milan, and whose son Paolo played 902 times, told Palermo24.
“The problem is that we talk about him too much, whether that’s good or bad things. We should be left in peace, to calmly get on with his new adventure at Milan.”
The Rossoneri welcome Palermo to San Siro tomorrow night, and Maldini anticipates a good game between the two.
“Milan are a complete team in every department. Any player who takes to the pitch on Saturday night can cause problems for the Rosanero.
“Games between the Rossoneri and the Sicilians have always been good games to watch, and very difficult for both teams.
“Palermo have always been highly respected in Milan. At the moment the Italian League is very balanced, so every game must be played like a final.
“There aren’t any games where one team is stronger than the other.”
