Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo confirms Sime Vrsaljko will sign from Sassuolo.
The Croatian right-back is believed to have agreed a contract to join the Spanish side, but no official confirmation has yet arrived.
“The player is focused on the Euros,” Cerezo explained to Marca.
“The medical has been done, and next year he’ll wear the Atletico shirt.”
Vrsaljko had also been linked with Napoli, but it appears he will continue his career outside of Serie A.
