Prospective Milan forward Alessio Cerci will complete medical formalities at Milanello tomorrow, whilst he went for a light run today instead.

The winger arrived at Linate Airport yesterday evening before this morning undergoing the first part of his medical examination at La Madonnina clinic in the city of Milan.

The 27-year-old was due to complete his medical exams this afternoon at Milanello, with a view to signing his contract in the following days and formalising his loan from Atletico Madrid, in exchange for Fernando Torres.

Instead, Sky Sport 24 are reporting that the MilanLab stage of his medical has been rescheduled for tomorrow.

In the meantime, the player worked on his condition at the Rossoneri’s training centre, with a light run once he was out of the clinic.

It is believed that the delay is in part down to the unlikelihood of Milan having Cerci’s paperwork registered in time for him to debut on Tuesday against Sassuolo.
