There are reports CEO Guido Fienga has left Roma, with an announcement expected imminently.

Fienga has been the CEO since 2019, although he worked for the club since 2013, and it is not clear what prompted the sudden departure.

The club was sold to the Friedkin family in 2020, with Dan and son Ryan Friedkin constant presences in Rome.

According to Il Tempo reporter Alessandro Austini and Corriere dello Sport writer Jacopo Aliprandi, the decision has been made and they are only waiting for an announcement.

AS Roma Press maintain this is part of a general restructuring of the hierarchy, which will see Ryan Friedkin be placed in charge of the day-to-day running of the club.

Fienga has a background in business and communications, whereas Friedkin is looking for someone with more of a focus on football and the European sporting landscape.
