Sky Sport Italia reports that Celtic have rejected Atalanta‘s third offer for Matt O’Riley.

Atalanta have had a €17m bid for O’Riley rejected by Celtic, according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

O’Riley has emerged as a possible reinforcement for the Europa League champions, who might sell their star Teun Koopmeiners to Juventus.

Why Celtic talent O’Riley is the perfect prototype of Atalanta signing

However, all their attempts to convince Celtic to sell the talented attacking midfielder have been vain so far.

Celtic have rejected a third bid from Bergamo, worth €17m and it is still unclear whether the Nerazzurri will send a new proposal.

O’Riley scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions with Celtic last season.

Juventus and Roma have also been linked with the 23-year-old but only Atalanta have made a formal offer for the attacking midfielder.

Atalanta have already signed Nicolò Zaniolo from Galatasaray and Ben Godfrey from Everton in the 2024 summer transfer window.
