Unsettled Catania striker Gianvito Plasmati is currently on trial with Celtic, confirmed his agent.
“We are in talks with Celtic. Gianvito is there now on a week's trial and the possibility of playing in Scotland would be very enticing for him,” Antonio Rebesco told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“I would rule out rumours linking him to Taranto, precisely because we are negotiating with Celtic and hope the Scottish option becomes something concrete.”

Plasmati will be a free agent at the end of the season, but has not played at all this term due to a contract dispute with Catania.
He claimed his signature on a 12-month extension was forged, but an appeal was rejected in March.
