Genoa full-back Luca Antonini is reportedly a target for Scottish Premiership side Celtic.

The 32-year-old, who is primarily a left-back, spent five seasons with Milan before joining the Grifone in 2013.

However, the defender fell out of favour under Gian Piero Gasperini last season, making just three Serie A starts and rejecting a move to Watford in January.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Scottish champions Celtic have made enquiries about Antonini, who has two years remaining on his contract.

Despite this, the full-back, who won a Scudetto with Milan in 2011, is likely to be available on the cheap, and could well be enticed by the prospect of Champions League football with Ronny Deila’s side.

The Bhoys face Azerbaijani side Qarabag FK tomorrow night in the third qualifying round, and could face Italian representatives Lazio in the play-off round should they progress.
