Celta Vigo sporting director Felipe Minambres confirms they’re “very close” to Roma’s Adem Ljajic.
The Serbian attacking midfielder spent last season on loan at Inter, but the Nerazzurri opted not to make the move permanent this summer.
“Ljajic is a player who interests us,” Minambres confirmed at a Press conference to introduce Alvaro Lemos.

“Ljajic is a player who interests us,” Minambres confirmed at a Press conference to introduce Alvaro Lemos.
“We’re very close, but at the moment it’s not done. The window is open, we’re looking for a goalkeeper, a central defender and an attacking wildcard like Ljajic.
“If we can’t get him, we’ll move on to other options. There are many players around who can adapt smoothly to Celta Vigo’s project.
“Ljajic would always be our first choice though, and we hope to announce his signing within the next week.”
