Prospective new Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has revealed that he is making peace with Brian McDermott by sending him over a couple of guitars.
The Cagliari President is closing in on a takeover at the Elland Road club, but things began on an unsteady foot with manager McDermott seemingly sacked from his position, before the club backtracked and reinstated him.
Seen as responsible for the mix-up, Cellino has revealed that he has looked to put the issue in the past and to work forwards with the 52-year-old tactician.

“Brian has a big heart and gives 100 per cent, we get on well,” Cellino has told The Sun today.
“There was a lot of misunderstanding early on and we've put that behind us. He loves the guitar and I want to help him get even better.
“I’m getting two guitars sent over for him from Cagliari. Maybe we could even play a concert at Elland Road one day.
“I love music. I have been lucky to play with Deep Purple, the Scorpions, Cream, Clapton and even George Harrison.”
The 57-year-old Miami-based entrepreneur, who has his own rock band, reiterated also his intention to buy back Leeds’ ground.
“There is an agreement that we can buy back Elland Road for £15.7m and I would do that as soon as a takeover went through.”
