UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin admits “I’m worried” by Milan’s financial situation but “we’ll see what happens”.
The Rossoneri have submitted plans for a voluntary agreement over Financial Fair Play, but there are doubts over the Chinese ownership, especially owner Yonghong Li.
“We’re working, I can’t say anything about it,” Ceferin told La Repubblica.

“We’re working, I can’t say anything about it,” Ceferin told La Repubblica.
“I’m worried, but we’ll see what happens. I’m mid-December the competent body will make a pronouncement.
“Anything is possible, but it’s premature to talk about it.”
Ceferin was also asked about Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, and whether it represents the “apocalypse” that Carlo Tavecchio spoke about.
“In a sporting sense, for a country that’s so passionate about football, it’s a tragedy but the Netherlands also missed out on the European Championships.
“It’s a chance to change things which aren’t working. In terms of infrastructure Italy is behind the other big European nations.
“Without infrastructure no young players come through, and without talent you can’t win. So it’s clear projects are needed, for new stadiums or training grounds.
“Right now Italy can’t host a big tournament, there’s scarce infrastructure and obsolete stadiums.
“Only Juventus, Udinese, Atalanta, Cagliari and Sassuolo have moved in that direction. A big event would help, but for Euro 2024 it’s Germany and Turkey in the running, and we haven’t talked about 2028 yet.”
