Newly-promoted Serie A side Lecce are busy, signing Assan Ceesay as a free agent and closing on a loan for Juventus left-back Gianluca Frabotta.
The Salentini won the Serie B title and will be in the top flight for the 2022-23 campaign.
This afternoon they formally announced the arrival of striker Ceesay as a free agent after his contract from FC Zurich expired.
The 28-year-old centre-forward is a Gambia international with 11 goals in 25 senior caps.
Ceesay scored 22 goals in 36 competitive games for FC Zurich this season.
According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà , Lecce are also close to securing left-back Frabotta on loan from Juventus.
He turns 23 next week and spent this season on loan at Hellas Verona, making only two appearances due to injury and COVID-19.
