Cedric Soares shrugged off talk about his future at Inter and urged the Nerazzurri not to “lose our identity” against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 kicks off in Germany tomorrow at 17.55 GMT.
“Eintracht are a very strong opponent, but we are ready to face them,” said the full-back in a Press conference.
“The most important thing is to remain concentrated on ourselves and our qualities, as I am sure that if we play to our best, we can bring home the result.

“It’s very important that we don’t lose our identity. If I get the chance to push forward and help the team attack, then I will, but obviously I have to first of all focus on ensuring my flank is well defended. That is, of course, assuming I play tomorrow.”
He arrived on loan from Southampton in January to replace injured Sime Vrsaljko, but there have been reports Inter won’t make it a permanent move.
“It’s a great honour to be here, as Inter showed faith in me. I’ll give my all and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season. If they keep me, then that’s great, otherwise life goes on.”
