Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Anellucci said: "Many things have been uselessly written about Cavani's future, sensational things by people who aren't doing their job well.

"However, it's useless to go into this debate. It's right that Napoli think about winning their last four games and finishing on a high note. This is the best thing. The season isn't over.

"Then at the end of the campaign we'll sit down for a chat.

"The credit for Cavani's fantastic season should be shared by everyone: from his teammates to the Coach, from the fitness Coach to the masseurs.

"A footballer doesn't score 26 goals by chance."
