Edinson Cavani has reiterated his desire to remain with Napoli into next season, stating that he wants to win more trophies with the club.

The Uruguayan international declared earlier today that his club could be tempted to sell him, if they receive a big enough offer.

However, following on from his President’s indication that Cavani will be considered above money, the striker is on message about staying with the Partenopei, with whom he won the Coppa Italia last season.

“My dream is to win again with Napoli, I want to give so many titles to the fans, to the city,” the 25-year-old told Sky this afternoon.

“After the Coppa Italia, I’m really enthusiastic, I don’t want to stop. We can start from the Super Cup against Juventus.

“My desire is to give my best for this city and to win for the fans. Football is a sport where you can win, lose or draw, we go into the field always to give our best and for me that is not a responsibility with such a city that thrives on football behind us. For me it’s a great experience and I enjoy this time.

“If we win, we know that the city behind us is happy and celebrating. And if the Azzurri fans are happy, then so am I.”
