Edinson Cavani has told Napoli to not bother with buying a new striker during the January transfer window.
The Azzurri are looking for a centre-forward who could act as cover for the Uruguayan hotshot when he’s not available for selection.
However, after again finding the net in the Europa League last night, he insists that the Azzurri don’t need a Vice-Cavani.
“I have no need to take a break and rest,” the former Palermo man noted. “All I need is to play and score goals in order to be in top shape.
“I’m happy that I scored against AIK, but the most important thing was that we won the game.
“We played an OK game, yet we must correct a lot of things and improve. Saying that, the key thing was to qualify for the next round and we’ve done that.”
