Maxi Lopez's representative has stated that he will hold talks at some point this week with Catania over his client's future.

"I'll be in Catania in the next few days to talk to the club," Dario Bombini told itasportpress.it. "We have to find a solution that satisfies my client and the outfit.

"Up until this point we've been sounded out by teams and I've read links in the newspapers, but nothing more than that."

Napoli have been associated with the 27-year-old in recent times as they look to construct a squad capable of competing in next term's Champions League.

"There has been no contact with Napoli, even if I don't know whether the two clubs have had any discussions," Bombini continued.

"I see a future for Maxi Lopez in Italy or in England."

Catania are expected to cash in on the Argentine who joined the Rossoazzurri during the 2010 January transfer window.
