According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Adriatic midfielder is due to arrive in Sicily tomorrow for €0.2m.
Mirko is only 17 and the younger brother of 19-year-old striker Marko Livaja, who is co-owned by Inter and Atalanta.
He will not be taking up a non-EU spot in the Catania squad, as Croatia entered the EU this week.
