Catania are looking to Boca Juniors star Facundo Roncaglia and could use Mariano Andujar as part of the deal.

The Sicilians announced goalkeeper Andujar “has played his last game for Catania” after a reported row with general manager Pietro Lo Monaco.

Andujar is an Argentina international and would relish a return to his homeland, while the same can be said of midfielder Pablo Ledesma.

It is rumoured that both could be offered to Boca Juniors as part of Catania’s attempt to prise away 24-year-old defender Roncaglia.

According to Itasportpress, the only problem is the timing, as Roncaglia would prefer to stay until the summer so he can play the Copa Libertadores.

He already has experience of playing in Europe, having worn the jersey of Espanyol in 2009-10.
