Salernitana coach Fabrizio Castori admits the Granata still haven’t settled in Serie A after their 4-0 defeat against Torino.
The newly-promoted side have three defeats from three games and have already conceded 10 goals.
“We knew it would have been a difficult season, but clearly we still haven’t settled,” Castori told DAZN.
“We can’t afford a single mistake because we get punished and if we give up mentally, then we can suffer heavy defeats.
“It’s a shame, but this will serve as a lesson for the future. It affected us to concede a goal just before the break, but the opening 20-25 minutes of the second half weren’t that bad.”
Circa 1,500 fans travelled to Turin from Salerno to follow the team today.
“It’s important to feel them close to us,” said Castori.
“We will do everything not to disappoint them in the next games.”
