Sinisa Mihajlovic would welcome the addition of Antonio Cassano to his Fiorentina squad this summer.

The Milan enigma has been paired with an exit given that, in the season leading up to Euro 2012, he isn't guaranteed first team football.

"He's a great player," stated the Viola boss. "If he has the right motivation and he gets it in his head that he has to train hard then he would be of use to any side."

The Italian international is a notoriously difficult individual to manage, having fallen out with teammates, Coaches and Presidents in the past.

"It might not be very easy to manage him, but I would have no problem with that as it's the same with all great players," added the former Inter defender.

Cassano joined Milan in January after he clashed with Doria chief Riccardo Garrone in the autumn of 2010.

Cassano could be involved in the Rossoneri's proposed bid for Riccardo Montolivo.

The Viola captain will be sold by the Stadio Franchi outfit after refusing to extend his contract which runs out in 2012.
