Antonio Cassano claims “we have waited four months” for Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus to take shape and Leonardo Bonucci can’t help Matthijs de Ligt.

Juve lost 3-1 to Lazio on Sunday and Cassano warns time is running out for the ex-Chelsea and Napoli boss to find his feet at the Allianz Stadium.

“Everyone keeps saying we need to be patient with Sarri, but we have waited four months now,” he told Tiki Taka.

“As soon as they faced a team as strong as Lazio, he lost.”

The Bianconeri have been without Giorgio Chiellini since August, and the former Italy star believes the Bianconeri are sorely missing their captain and defensive lynchpin.

“Chiellini is missing. He is being missed a lot. He is a leader both on and off the pitch. Giorgio has great character; he would have helped [Matthijs] de Ligt.

“The poor lad is finding it tough and [Leonardo] Bonucci isn’t capable of helping him like he should.”
