Antonio Cassano reveals what he’ll “never forgive myself for,” turning down Juventus four times and his future.
The striker is a free agent after tearing up his contract with Parma due to six months of unpaid wages, a situation that continues to drag on.
He spoke to Canale 5 show ‘Heroes’ and looked back over his eventful career so far.
“I was never intrigued by Juve and turned them down four times. Do I regret that? Absolutely not,” said FantAntonio.

“I was never intrigued by Juve and turned them down four times. Do I regret that? Absolutely not,” said FantAntonio.
“My only real regret is the way I behaved towards Riccardo Garrone. It was a huge mistake. I tried to make up for it, but years later I think I’ll never forgive myself for that.”
Cassano had seemed to settle down at Sampdoria, but was thrown out after hurling abuse at then-President Garrone over a seemingly minor sponsorship issue in October 2011.
He made up with Garrone before the patron’s death in January 2013.
Cassano is now looking for his next club, but at the age of 32 admits he could consider retirement.
“I don’t see myself being a Coach in future, so I’d prefer the role of director of sport, so I could watch games.
“I want to be a positive role model for my children.”
