A photograph started circulating on social media showing Cassano seated next to Juric at a restaurant in the port city.
It sparked speculation because FantAntonio has been frozen out by Samp and his picture was even removed from the club website.
However, his wife Carolina Marcialis took to Twitter in order to shut down the rumours.

“With regards to the photograph that’s going around… I wanted to say that the other night we went out to dinner at a restaurant in Genoa and next to us was a long table with the Genoa Coach and other members of the staff.
“We said hello, it was all very relaxed… to go from that to negotiations takes a lot of imagination! Do you seriously think someone would hold negotiations in a restaurant full of people?”
