The Milan striker is well known for his ‘Cassanate,' those silly gestures that have got him into trouble throughout his career.

He was at the Coverciano training camp preparing for Friday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Serbia when he insulted a journalist.

Corriere dello Sport writer Andrea Santoni found himself in the bar section of the training camp, which is usually closed to journalists.

Cassano spotted him there and insulted the writer, although the FIGC confirmed this afternoon that the incident had been resolved.

Before the afternoon training session, Cassano shook hands with Santoni and apologised in the presence of Coach Prandelli.
