The striker was highly critical of the tactician this summer in leaving the Nerazzurri for Parma, but has indicated his grudge is only with the Coach, not his former employers.

“The championship will for me be won by Juventus” data-scaytid=”5″>Juventus and in the Champions League places will be Napoli and Inter,” considered Cassano this week when asked for his prediction for the season on Tiki Taka.

“Inter have a top Coach, but as a person he is less great. I’m convinced, however, that he will do great things.

“I am rooting as an Inter fan and for Inter, but not for Mazzarri, I do not give a damn about him, I am interested in what Inter achieve.”

The 31-year-old was asked of two strikers he has played with before who are taking the limelight for various reasons at the moment, Francesco Totti and Mario Balotelli.

“Totti surprises even me. He could play as a striker for the next five to six years easily. Serie A has dropped in level, but his level has remained at the top, over the past 15 years he has achieved something extraordinary.

“Balotelli is a good guy. He is like me when I was 20. I was doing well and then being sent off, and then doing something well and another thing wrong. He is 20 and has to be taken as he is.”
