Casadei sent off on Chelsea U21 debut for typical Serie A offence

Italy starlet Cesare Casadei was sent off on his U21 Chelsea debut against Sutton United, receiving the second yellow card for a handball offence typical of Italian football.

The 19-year-old had a disappointing debut in English football as he was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

He was shown the second in the second half for a handball relatively conventional in Italian football. An opponent tangled with the ex-Inter starlet in the middle of the park.

The Italian midfielder fell to the floor and stopped the ball with his hand hoping to have earned a free kick, which is something we witness in Serie A every day.

However, the referee didn’t blow his whistle for a foul on Casadei and, instead, he showed him a second yellow card for his handball.
