Milan’s alleged interest in Andy Carroll is reportedly building as rumours suggest they are eyeing a possible loan deal for the England man.

Carroll caught the eye of Milan President Silvio Berlusconi’s son Piersilvio, after his performances for England at Euro 2012.

Whilst the Rossoneri are working to a tight budget that has seen Adriano Galliani declare more than once that they are closed for business this summer, the Corriere dello Sport understands movement for Carroll has been made.

This follows on from speculation that new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has given the Anfield outfit permission to try to move him on as he is not in his initial plans for the new season.

Sportmediaset are also reporting along the same lines, suggesting that the Diavolo will try to tempt Liverpool with a year-long loan offer for the 23-year-old.
