The Biancorossi players turned up expecting to take part in an afternoon session, but found the gates locked, with MaiDireCalcio reporting that Modena President Antonio Caliendo was behind the decision.
Carpi are sharing the stadium with the Canarini this season, as their own Stadio Sandro Cabassi is not suitable for Serie A football.

The Biancorossi players turned up expecting to take part in an afternoon session, but found the gates locked, with MaiDireCalcio reporting that Modena President Antonio Caliendo was behind the decision.
Carpi are sharing the stadium with the Canarini this season, as their own Stadio Sandro Cabassi is not suitable for Serie A football.
Modena do not own the stadium, instead renting it from the city council, but receive payment of €170,000 per year from the Biancorossi for use of the ground.
“Carpi have paid everything, the agreement is clear,” team manager Matteo Scala told reporters
“Carpi’s payments were seized by a court in Modena to pay the Canarini’s debts.”
Coach Giuseppe Sannino and his players have gone back to Stadio Sandro Cabassi to train, with a statement from Modena expected in the next few hours.
A resolution will have to be agreed soon, as Carpi are due to play Bologna on Saturday in the stadium.
