The Neroverdi CEO addressed the big transfer questions at the club, as Sassuolo’s stars are being targeted by the bigger clubs in Italy.

Domenico Berardi is constantly being linked away from the Mapei Stadium, and in recent months the same goes for Jeremie Boga and Manuel Locatelli.

“I hope Berardi doesn’t become a new soap opera,” Carnevali said, according to Tuttomercatoweb. “It doesn’t go away. I trust his desire to stay will always prevail.”

Carnevali confirmed clubs have been looking at Locatelli and Boga, but knows it’s still early, as July would usually be a month full of transfer negotiations.

“They haven’t asked us so far, but it’s still early. I won’t be misled by thinking it’s July,” he added. “We only focus on playing.

“Locatelli is being followed, some big clubs have come forward for him, as well as for Boga.”
