Carlos Mac Allister, father and agent of Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, spoke highly about Juventus when commenting on his son’s future.

The 24-year-old Argentinian midfielder drew the attention of clubs across Europe with his incredible performances at the World Cup in Qatar, playing a vital role in the Albiceleste’s run to their third world title. Mac Allister appeared in all but one game for Argentina, scoring against Poland and providing an assist in the final against France.

Speaking to TMW, Carlos Mac Allister discussed the qualities of Juventus and what the next steps are for his son.

“Juventus are a great club, one of the most prestigious in the world. I can only say that together with the club we will analyse the offers that come to us, then we will decide what will happen in Alexis’ future.

“He is very happy in England and he’s grateful to Brighton because they gave him the chance to reach Europe. We cannot give a price, though, nor do we say who called us. We don’t want to give information that could prejudice upcoming negotiations, if there are any.”

The 24-year-old Mac Allister is contracted to Brighton until 2025 and has an estimated market value of around €42m. Reports from Italy today suggested that the Argentinian midfielder is open to a move to Turin, giving Juventus a genuine shot of securing his signature in the coming months.

This season, Mac Allister has scored five goals in 14 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls.
