Sampdoria striker Gianluca Caprari has returned to training after 77 days out with a fractured fibula.
Blucerchiati Coach Marco Giampaolo has received a massive boost to his squad ahead of this Sunday’s Derby della Lanterna game with Genoa.
Caprari had managed five goals in 19 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia and had formed a good partnership with Fabio Quagliarella before sustaining the serious injury in training.
The 25-year-old has been out of action since the end of January, when he fractured his right fibula.
