The former Giallorossi Coach was at the Trigoria ground “invited by Franco Baldini.”
Baldini was the England general manager under Capello’s staff and left last month to take over at the club.
“I found many old friends here,” said Capello to the Ansa news agency. “I don’t want to say anything else.”
Capello has confirmed he will not renew the England contract that expires after Euro 2012.
He won the Scudetto with Roma in 2001.
