Fabio Capello laments that the gap between Juventus and their challengers is “abysmal”.
The Bianconeri went seven points clear at the top of Serie A with a win over Roma on Saturday night, making them favourites for a record-breaking sixth Scudetto in a row.
“As predicted, there is no race,” Capello told Premium Sport.
“They [Juventus] started slowly but like every year they recovered quickly, getting players back.

“They [Juventus] started slowly but like every year they recovered quickly, getting players back.
“[Gonzalo] Higuain had to adapt, others had to adapt to a mentality, to a type of work at a club which gives everything and asks for everything.
“If they win, as I think they will do, for six years it means the other competitors are weak, the difference seems abysmal.
“We have to hope that the gap to Juventus can be closed in a short time, six consecutive years is too much.
“There’s a lack of top-class players, while Juve have the players, the organisation and the mentality.”
