Capello has been linked with the Nerazzurri hotseat as rumours persist that Claudio Ranieri will be shown the door at the end of the season.
“I can exclude a future at Inter, I’m 100 per cent sure of that,” the tactician told Sky Sport Italia. “A month after leaving the England job, I’m just waiting and I don’t know what I will do.
“The rumour that I met [Inter President Massimo] Moratti in London is a massive lie,” he continued. “I read some incredible things now and again.
“The fact that I live near to the restaurant where Moratti normally eats probably saw people assume that I was there, but I wasn’t.”
Capello, a former Coach at Roma, Juventus and Milan, was also asked for his thoughts on the Italian championship and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in particular.
“This is an important part of the season as the games are running out,” he added. “It would have been hard for Milan to chase down a team.
“The team has looked very focused and determined to me, apart from the game in London against Arsenal.
“Ibra? I was the Coach who bought him to Italy [at Juventus],” he continued. “Ibrahimovic is one of the best in Europe.
“He’s a phenomenon thanks to his power, technique and quality. It’s very difficult to find a player of his height who is so agile.
“When he’s in the penalty area he scores or he creates a goal because he always has two defenders around him.”
For all of his ability, the Swedish international has been criticised of late for his aggressive comportment.
“There is something inside of him which makes him competitive on the pitch, because he’s a good guy off the field of play.”
Ibra was on the scoresheet yesterday as Milan’s 2-0 win over Lecce saw them open up a four-point gap at the top of the table over Juventus.
