“Juventus are feeling strong right now, as they have found their form, their confidence, their shape. I see them doing well,” Capello told the Corriere dello Sport.

“Milan pulled back a bit when the time came to win against Cagliari, but they do better away from home and are up against an Atalanta side that always wants to play. In these situations, Stefano Pioli’s team can be transformed.

“I have faith in Juve and faith in Milan, so I hope people appreciate that. As for today, the best Milan is seen against an open team. They have trouble when playing against sides who clam up in defence, especially when Zlatan Ibrahimovic is missing.”

Capello has few doubts when it comes to one of the teams who will qualify for the Champions League.

“Napoli are playing at home, they ought to win. It’s true Verona are well-organised, but they don’t defend very well and are facing a side with forwards in great shape. I think Napoli will do it.”
