Fabio Capello praises Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, saying that the Reds have the ‘most entertaining attack in Europe.’

The Premier League giants have qualified for the Champions League semi-finals after a 3-3 draw against Benfica last night. They had the better in the tie, winning 6-4 on aggregate. When asked on Sky Sport Italia whether Klopp has the best attack in Europe, the ex-coach replied: “It’s the most entertaining one. When they put the ball in the box, there isn’t a player who isn’t ready to score.

“At Anfield, they fulfil their attacking mentality in the best possible way.”

Capello is a huge admirer of Klopp. He has recently claimed that Italian football should follow his playing style, as Atalanta and Genoa are doing.

After Italy’s elimination from the World Cup play-offs last month, Capello said that Italian football has been following Pep Guardiola’s style for 15 years despite not having the quality to do so, while the German’s tactical approach would suit the Azzurri more.

The 75-year-old coached England from 2007 until 2012 and is one of the most winning coaches in the history of the game, having won, among other things, five Serie A titles and one Champions League.
