There are three Italy internationals in the starting XI, Alessandro Florenzi, Moise Kean and Verratti, but the latter is in a more advanced ‘trequartista’ role in the 4-2-3-1 formation.
“Verratti’s position is going to be interesting. Pochettino has just arrived, so he hasn’t had much time to evaluate the players and their characteristics,” Capello told Sky Sport Italia.
“His role now at PSG is to get a lot of soloists and make them work together as a team.
“Verratti’s position is already a change, he realised he needs a player of certain quality there, who can dribble quickly when pressed.
“I’d always seen Verratti in a deeper role, but if Pochettino made that decision, it’s because he believes that the player can do well there. We’ll see precisely what position he has in the end.”
Kean is not really a surprise in the starting XI either, because he has scored 13 goals in 24 games for Paris Saint-Germain while on loan from Everton.
