Fabio Capello explained why Leo Messi will stay at Barcelona despite seeing his contract expire at the end of the season.
The Argentinean has been heavily linked with a free move to PSG in the summer, but the former coach believes he’ll go nowhere opting to stay at the Camp Nou.
“I think Messi will stay at Barcelona, I don’t believe PSG are going to spend all that money,” Capello told Sky Sprot after the Catalans’ 4-1 defeat against PSG in Champions League.

“Laporta is the favourite to become Barcelona President again and he is on very good terms with Messi. He adores Barcelona, everyone loves him over there, I don’t think there is any chance to see him joining PSG.
“With Laporta he will be focused on building a better Barcelona side.”
Laporta has confirmed he will do “everything he can” to keep Messi at Barcelona.
