New Genoa signing Diego Capel reveals that former teammate Diego Perotti encouraged him to move to the Grifone.
The winger signed from Sporting CP on Tuesday and was presented to the media as a Genoa player for the first time today.
“Genoa is a club that has always interested me and that I followed in Spain,” he said at the Press conference.
“It’s the right team for me to make the leap into a major championship like Serie A.

“I chose the number 16 because it’s a number that has always brought me luck and that connects me to Sevilla, where I spent important years.
“Perotti spoke very highly of the team and the club and his words were one of the many reasons why I came here.”
